All of us at ULMA are extremely grateful that no one was injured - TopicsExpress

All of us at ULMA are extremely grateful that no one was injured in the unfortunate incident last night on the way to Randolph County Raceway involving the hauler driven by ULMA Points Leader Dwight Niehoff containing his car and Payton Looneys car. Dwight had to take unexpected and quick evasive action to avoid hitting another competitors hauler and causing even more damage and possible loss of life and injury when a car in front of the haulers abruptly braked and turned in front of them. If not for Niehoffs attention to detail and ability to react quickly, this could have been a far worse situation! Niehoffs hauler was a total loss. Further assessment is being done to see how much damage was done to the cars after the hauler made violent impact with the ditch and trees. Also, some items spilled and flew around in the hauler causing damage to drivers suits and personal effects. Dwight and Payton are great competitors and we know they will keep a positive outlook on things, they are great ambassadors of our sport and the racing family is a tight unit!
