All of you folks overseas think of Australia as the lucky country... endless amounts of sunshine, cold beer, bbqd prawns and weird versions of football. But no. Not just home to all of the biting, stinging, eating things that matter, they also have a local version of the humble magpie that at nesting time becomes a defensive machine, taking on anything smaller than a road train with repeated squawking fly-buys and full-on kamikaze runs.
