All of you parents that arent doing what needs to be done, are worthless. All of you parents that are, great job!! Contrary to some belief, parenting isnt the same as caring for a pet. Becoming a parent, is a direct result of your own actions and decisions. Parent is parere in its original latin form, which means to bring forth. The only way to become a parent is to bring forth a child. The step parent is someone that chose (action and decision) to step forward and undertake the responsibility of an original parent, that brought forth a child. I know, we all know this already. Somehow, there are still entirely too many people that arent living up to those titles. So I figured a refresher course was warranted.
