All of you who know Luke Ellison, know that he’s pretty White. For those who don’t know him, well, Luke is a 6’4 white guy who walks, talks and acts white. Last night as we had finished on Skid row, we were keeping an eye on our guys going back to their cars. Me and Johnny Delamora were in the back and Luke was coming back from all the way up front. This is what “Usually” happens at the end of the night but last night was different. Very Different! I see Luke walking down towards me and Johnny, and I hear him clapping, so I turn to see what the hell’s going on and I hear this Black woman on the sidewalk singing loudly to Luke: Play that funky music white boy Play that funky music right Play that funky music white boy……. Bahahaha Yup, I ain’t making this shit up. It was one freakin helluva sight to see! I gotta say, never a dull night on Freakin Skid row! But as for Luke….. Play that funky music white boy Lay down that boogie and play that funky music till you die Till you die, Oh till you die…...…!
