All over New Mexico we have remarkable people doing amazing work: work that helps with families, with seniors, with veterans, with abused women, and, of course, work that recognizes the singular importance of taking care of and nurturing our children. This video salutes the inspiring work of Roger Montoya and Salvador Ruiz, co-founders of Moving Arts, a program that combines dance, music, drama and the visual arts. As the video makes clear, this is a program that makes a huge difference in the lives of the children and families that travel from all over Northern New Mexico to take part.
