All plans for the day took a nosedive when my Buddy escaped from the porch! Somehow popo ended up with my baby and took him straight to the pound.... in spite of his dog tags giving them my phone number and address... I guess thats my punishment for him being a pit, huh? Long story short, I had to go buy him back from the shelter (thank you Conroe shelter for calling me!!!!!) To top it off the puppy I got back looks like he was run over by a small car. Small bleeding cuts and scrapes on every inch of his body, ear ripped open, one leg seems to be useless. A fast trip to our vet and I was turned away until tomorrow at 9:30. So much for his health insurance being a lifesaver.... SMH
