All puppies are currently sold. For those of you who have spoken for one of the seven we will not be taking deposits or having anybody pick out puppies for at least the first few weeks. A few of our puppies are going to Livestock Guardian homes and due to the nature of that work we want to make sure that they are getting the dogs best suited for that. Those pups best suited for livestock guardian work (working directly with and living with livestock) would not necessarily be the best suited to pet (or family guardian) homes as they may be more independent souls than most families are looking for. On the flip side to that there will always be those puppies that are just DRIVEN to be a humans best friend and companion. No interest in leaving your side makes them great pets for you and your family but makes them much less apt to be a great livestock guardian. Please bear with us in using our judgment in deciding when we will allow new owners to choose their puppies. Our goal is to place these dogs in forever homes......not just sell them willy-nilly. To attain this goal we need to make sure that you and your new family member are as compatible as possible. Furthermore this is best done when we (new owners and ourselves) can make the best judgments regarding personality and aptitudes.
