All right, I was told f(pi/2), f(x)= -7cos(x) + 4, by Christina Janssen-Solheim, so here are 7 things you may or may not know about me. 1. I didnt really start thinking the way that I do now until Linda Haupt Dutchers journal assignments. Not sure if it was the timing or what, but after I, in a way, opened my mind, I was, and still am, a different person. 2. I collect antique padlocks. My personal favorite doesnt have a key, or Id use it, but it bears the insignia of the Department of Ordnance, which was renamed to the Ordnance Corps in 1950. 3. Im learning to read Tarot. Not that good at the moment, and college hasnt given me much time for practice, but its something that I, for some reason, have a building passion for. Mostly, Im fascinated by the meanings of the cards and how, when giving a reading, they weave together to form a complex story. 4. I have problems with lists. Not necessarily with coming up with content, but rather their limiting factor. The realm of thought is larger than God or man, yet we view life in such a manner it can be lined up, named, and done with. What is worth its own point, in a list? What denotes good enough? 5. I love cultures. Norse, Greek, Irish- any culture is great. Its all amazing to me. The stories, the myths, the horror stories- love em. Tales of Hellhounds, Frost Giants, and Goddesses of Strife- sign me up. 6. Ive never left the United States (though Id love to and I will someday, even just to Canada), but Ive pretty much been to the four corners. Ive been in Florida, New York/DC, Seattle, and Las Vegas/Hoover Dam, among many middle places. I love traveling, and I plan on doing a bunch of it. 7. I managed to get a great bunch of friends, and they all mean the world to me. Still have no idea how that happened, but I just want you all to know that youre the best I could have ever hoped for. Not even sure how I got half of you. Some of you have been around for the long haul (Paul Willoughby and Brett Lingren, I mean you.), others I only got to know relatively recently (Celine Lavonne Uhl and Cayli Graham, dat senior trip), and others I hope to have more adventures with in the coming days (Dan Dubenco and Wesley J. Brueland, heck, any Ames Bros that read this). I only mentioned a few of you, so dont be too upset about that, but Ill follow the example. Ill be happy to give a number to anyone who likes this status, granted 22 of you already saw Janssens, but hey. Overlap happens. Also, mines longer and therefore better, right? :P
