All right, so check this: last year Animal Planet released the mockumentary “Mermaids: The Body Found”, about the putative existence of mermaids. I found it lightly entertaining speculative fiction, but unfortunately hordes of gullible and weak-minded people took it *seriously*. This year they’ve come back with “Mermaids: The New Evidence” and I have to say, I’m starting to get really pissed.
