All studies are not carried out equally. To check the accuracy of a study you simply have to read 100% of the information in the study. This includes how it was conducted and how they got the end results. For example the infamous marijuana study that says it kills brain cells. This is how it was conducted. Monkeys had gas masks put on for 5 min. They received no oxygen for 5 min just marijuana smoke. Now lets think about this logically. DUH you put a gas mask on for 5 min and only blow smoke through it of duh your going to get brain damage from oxygen deprivation.
