All teachers are now certified in 1st Aid training. Thanks to Mrs. Joetta Kelly for providing NCCAs training. Matt Whitlings lecture encouraged faculty to teach students to love learning by explaining the various ways we love and what it means to learn using two old testament Hebrew words- Raah & Yada. To SEE (observe, evaluate, pass judgment/discern) and KNOW (intimate knowledge). When students understand our Creator and know Him fully, they are free to love learning all of their subjects in relation to who our God is and what He has done. Finally, this afternoon faculty learned from Al Chandler the goal of NCCA in regards to our discipline system. Faculty is taught to probe hearts and understand the motivations behind student actions rather than only modify behavior.
