All the B-29 talk recently...here is my Monogram B-29. I started it about 2000, finished it around 2010...picked it up and put it away probably 10 times over that span. Could not reasonably estimate hours spent on it. No kit part unmodified. All panel lines and rivets scribed. Mostly scratchbuilt interior, even the waist gun station that cant be seen. Engines and Things engines with wiring and baffles added, along with the forward exhaust collectors. True Details wheels (yes, overbulged I know). Squadron resin bombs in mostly scratchbuilt bomb bays, including the center racks not provided in the kit. Wheel wells scratchbuilt. Made new full-span spars for strength...I can hold this heavy beast by a wingtip! Finish is the old SNJ Spray metal...Alclad II was not out yet.
