All the attention to this today. Renee, like many aging actresses, had a huge dry spell finding work. She always had very puffy eyelids which were endearing when she was dating Tom Cruise in Jerry McGuire or squinting at Mr. Darcy. But almost 2 decades later, she like many older actresses obviously made a tough decision to have surgery on them. Many people only look refreshed after this type of surgery, but Renee lost a trademark piece of herself, although she is clearly still very attractive. I empathize with her. I was just talking to someone about the small window of time a woman has to work as a film actress then youre useless again until youre a senior citizen. Whats a woman to do? It would certainly help if it were accepted that aging happens to women. I hope she starts working again soon!
