All the comments I have made and continue to make here and emails to congressmen and women, Sally Jewell Secretary of the Interior, Ken Washburn and others at US Department of Interior and Garden City Group Class Action Administrator for the Cobell disbursement to 500,000 Native Americans is not about me it is about the woman at Standing Rock who could have had propane at least for this winter so that she could be alive today to be with her family. I spoke to one of the attorneys at Garden City Group after it was announced for the third time we were not going to be getting our settlement money and he said he had just read an article in Mother Jones about how Eloise Cobells father froze. The atty then said he called me just to let me know that he read the article and it reminded him of my harsh words I inflicted upon him about how our people still freeze to death on the out of sight out of mind reservations in of all places the United States of America and they needed their settlement money before winter. William the atty for Garden City Group was sincerly distraught because of the article that shed light on my account as well as the fact that Gardrn City Group had just announced for the third time in a row we would not be getting our money. He told me it was hard to listen to Native Americans calling him with such rage and anger. I said, because some of them know they and their loved ones will not make it throughy the winter and to build up the hopes of any of us especially those who suffer the most was beyond being fair, it was and still is the same mismanagement lies and deceit that we and our ancestors were subject to from the Department if the Interior and the Bureau of Indian Affairs. The only difference? The courts had now allowed corporate America to commit the same atrocities. In other words the historical Cobell Class Action Lawsuit solved nothing except it made a mockery out of accountability and held no government department accountable for the CONTINUING misappropriation I never spoke to William again, his script reading replacement is being paid a hefty salary to talk to me as if I do not understand English...but if he only knew...
