All, the proposed MFL rule for the Lower Santa Fe and Ichetucknee Rivers has been invalidated by the administrative law judge based on vague language the agencies used to describe how the MFLs were calculated. This is a win because it invalidates a bad MFL rule but it remains to be seen what happens next--what course of action the agencies will take. The Ichetucknee Alliance remains hopeful that we might be able to work with the agencies to come up with a better rule, but that depends on whether the agencies would be receptive to our help or not. Anyone want to place any bets?
