All these years later, #AlexanderWolff and #SportsIllustrated are still off the mark. In a recent interview, Wolff stated: SI: They didn’t take your advice in 95. I could see their point more if they said something like, How do you like us now?, but they said, See why this was such a bad idea? as if winning the title had vindicated all the stuff that had gone on, which almost proved our point. No, you imbecile. Had zero to do with the 01 title vindicating all the stuff that had gone one and EVERYTHING to do with the Hurricanes program not throwing in the towel, getting punished, bottoming out, rebuilding the right way and earning that fifth title with some character kids and hard work—doing it the right way. Almost two decades later youd think this clown would finally give credit and would quit trying to *prove* why the article made sense.
