All things Thriller Michael with Sculptor Enzo Arzenton and his wife Laura on July 6th 92 at the Dangerous Monza concert. Michael was a collector of the Laurenz Disney Porcelain sculptures by Enzo Arzenton, sold by Forest Lamps & Gifts worldwide. In 1989 Michael sent a letter to Enzo stating he was impressed with his work and had his entire Disney collection and asked if he would make a sculpture for him. ~ Eight months after receiving the letter, Michael phoned and told me that he would order a porcelain sculpture, inspired by the video Thriller. He sent me the pictures and I immediately started working. I sent it to him in the summer of 1991, and he wrote me: All my dreams and my desires were realized, the piece is magnificent and I love it. Upon completion of the piece, Michael sent Enzo a letter of thanks and a request for a second piece. A year later, Enzo and his wife Laura met Michael in Monza (Milan province, Italy). Michael sent Enzo invitations and tickets, but when he appeared at the Hotel Savoy in Milan, the security guards would not let them pass until Michael confirmed they were his guests.~ Once backstage, we were the first people who he called to see and take this photo with. Michael was a sweet person, when we met we were in seventh heaven. He had the look of a child , and also a good humour, a kindness and education that fascinated my wife. In the end, the sculpture was never commercialized due to high cost. Altogether, six pieces were produced, 3 for Michael, the fourth is with the sculptor Enzo, and two are with collectors and have featured at auction. Video link shows Enzo and his wife in 2009 with the Thriller statue, the photos that Michael sent to him for the reproduction and the letters that Michael sent.
