All this talk about raising minimum wage is IRRITATING!!! If you want more than minimum wage, then have more than minimum education, minimum work ethic, minimum responsibility and minimum ambition! PERIOD! Jobs that pay minimum wage ARE NOT MEANT to be come careers! They are helping/training you, giving you experience, etc. People want to make something for nothing! If you want to make $15 an hour, then show up to work every day, do the job you are told to do as if you actually care about what you are doing, and stop acting so darned entitled!! I made $3+ an hour detasseling corn in the HOT summer here in Indiana when I was in high school. I worked my behind off for that little bit of money and I was grateful for it. I knew that I wanted more from life than detasseling corn for a few dollars an hour, so I FINISHED HIGH SCHOOL, WENT ON TO COLLEGE, SERVED MY COUNTRY and then EARNED the rest of the money I have made sense!! Instead of all this talk about raising minimum wage, how about we have maximum ambition, drive and desire so that minimum wage does not even matter as it will not apply to you!! ok, off my soap box... for now
