All through the Bible when God was trying to change the lives of his people he usually and often gave them a new identity by giving them a new image and new name. God changed Abrams name to Abraham and therefore changed the meaning of his name as well to what God wanted him to see himself as and as what God prophesied him to become. God did this to Sarah his wife as well, Paul (formerly known as Saul) and many other Bible legends. In 1997, I felt God speak to my heart and gave me a new name that I have walked in that has helped me through so many battles. In failure when I felt like I had sank in an ocean of darkness God reached down and pulled me up until I saw light through the water of hopelessness coming until I broke forth through to the surface again and could breath fresh, new life and fresh new birth and he once again..gave me a new image...with a new name. Actually,,,its a name I already had but never used. A name I never thought about much but my earthly father gave me. I was hurt by a church I loved and served in and did not understand why until I understood how religion choked the very life from them and its the bondage they are in that really has caused them much more pain than myself. But for a while I walked in a really bad self image that I allowed myself to feel because of bad leadership and lies that were placed on me and so I acted out that belief system and believed what Satan wanted me to believe...that I was no good, not a christian, all the things these judgmental people wanted me to believe and were wrong to start with but had convinced me I was through their judgement of me. I believed it and so what a man thinks in his heart so is he. Shame on me for doing that, but I didnt understand my behaviior at the time, I just knew I was hurt and angry and did the very thiing that would prove them right at the time when they were very wrong in their judgment and God knows it at the start. We allow others or we can NOT allow others to plant a bad image of us in our minds. Its a battle daily to believe GOD and a good plan He has for our lives and to walk in it...or to believe the enemy and the people who want us to fail...and what he and they want for our lives, but the battle is real. And the battle is here, daily to fight. We can choose to live or die...its our fight and ours..but not alone. Let me help you if you need it. I did. We are NOT alone. Sheri Rose Shepherd has wonderful books and a testimony, as well as others who started out, just like Abraham and Sarah in the Bible, Queen Esther ( Hadassah was her real name that got changed later to Queen and her image that saved her people..which was Gods plan and purpose for her) told they were never going to accomplish anything, or given a bad image. Told they were this or that...or given a circumstance...like depression, or a learning disability, a physical handicap, or emotional stunt in growth. Whatever your thorn in the flesh,,,whatever your weakness know that with GOD, he can use your disability to become your greatest strength. He can use what Satan means for your harm and turn it into your greatest advantage and help other people who need a friend to come along and help them up when they fall along the wayside as well on their race to win the crown of life. Be strong knowing that you are Gods chosen people. You are an overcomer. With God you can run over a troop. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. You may be in a valley but its just because you are learning, growing and before long, your strength will come if you spend a little time with Jesus every morning. Wisdom comes when you spend time with Wisdom...that is with God...He is Wisdom. You and I need Him..to hear what He has to say...to eat from His table,,to drink from His cup of righteousness for you cannot do battle if you do not know who you are in Christ. And who you are will protect you...when you hear lies that say..you are a failure open your mouth and speak truth and say no, God says I am an overcomer...I am a strong princess, a royal nation a holy people. Speak it until the victory comes. No, its not being silly. Its doing what the Creator did...He spoke and it came to pass...the whole world did...It was without form and void and then He spoke and it came to pass. If you are a Christian,,,you are a little anointed one, thats what Christian means...so...speak to yourself and make the parts of you that are void and without form become something....become what you want them to become. An overcomer,,,a princess...a warrior bride. You were created to do something..to be something..yes, you have a destiny now how bad do you want it? You got to get up and fight. Lay down and become defeated. You wont get any award for it...just a headstone for your grave if your family has some money for it. Go get your Queenly Crown :-) Yes, You Are a Princess...a beautiful daughter of the Most High God. I wont let my crown be stolen anymore :-) Thank you Jesus
