All went well with my infusion. It took about 6 hours, but was overall pretty painless. I only had 1 allergic reaction so I was given benadryl, (my best friend as of lately with all my infusions), which seemed to do the trick. I go back for round #2 of an iron infusion October 1st. Til then Im still training as best I can for the triathlon, catching some rest when I can, playing soccer to keep my stress levels down, & of course working full time. Andrew Fuzzy-Dougan and Moe Kar have been the best with all of their support & i couldnt ask for more! Thank you to all those who have reached out to me throughout this learning journey of mine! & a HUGE thank you to all those who have sent us donations to TRI to find a cure for Crohns & Colitis!! As always the prayers, positive thoughts, & numerous texts just to make me smile have brought me a long way! You all know who you are ♡ my sincerest thanks go out to you all ..this triathlon is dedicated to you!
