I’m looking for someone to develop an ongoing series of articles for the Respondly blog (https://respond.ly/). The theme of the content will be around the emerging insights sociologists, and other researchers, are uncovering around how we humans conduct conversations in this brave new world of social media. We have a body of research papers to draw on, and the brief will be to pick various aspects from this material, drawing a few of these threads together to write pieces that unpack these ideas in an interesting way, with a focus (either explicit or implicit depending on the piece) on how it relates to the Respondly tool, and where we are taking it. We’re aiming for fascinating thought pieces that both us (the Respondly team) as well as our potential customer base will find insightful and inspiring. We’d like to achieve “evergreen” articles ahead of light-weight, thinly veiled marketing dross that is so often what is found on company blogs. So, to do this, we’re looking for a curious mind, with fantastic writing chops, who can craft a great story around fascinating source material and scientific papers (think “RadioLab” - radiolab.org/).
