This position REQUIRES associates to be able to work flexible & long hours (12 hr shifts, 3 days, total 36 hrs/ week. All shifts will include weekends and holidays). In addition to learning the bagger, associates must learn multiple positions and learn how to operate various industrial machines in an industrialized mass-production bakery. Positions include full time (36 hrs) opportunities that may have a set schedule or a fluctuating schedule. General Job Description: The Bagger Operator is responsible for the correct bagging and coding of all varieties. Production Duties: 1. Ensure proper set up of the bagger for all varieties. 2. Ensure proper coding of product and that it is clear and legible at all times. 3. Make adjustments at baggers and indexers as needed due to product variation. 4. Do rewraps in a timely manner. 5. Clearly communicate with all wrap area employees. 6. Inform supervisor of any inconsistencies immediately. 7. Perform quality control checks as specified. 8. Insure proper slicing of all varieties at all times. 9. Store boxes properly on racks. 10. Communicate clearly with the bagger operator relieving you. 11. Any and all other duties deemed necessary by supervision. Sanitation Duties: 1. Properly Lock out / Tag out any applicable equipment before cleaning. 2. Keep bagger area clean at all times. 3. Any and all other duties deemed necessary by supervision. REQUIREMENTS: Required Skills & Education: 1. Ability to learn multiple positions and be able to work these positions on varying shifts. 2. Problem solving, effective communication and team work skills. 3. 3+ years in ANY industrial/production environment. 4. Must be able to keep up in a fast pace environment. Physical Requirements: 1. Must be able to work a physical and labor intensive day. 2. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. 3. Must be able to stoop, push, pull, bend and climb. 4. Must be able to identify colors. 5. Must be able to pass drug screen. Other: 1. Location: Plymouth, MI 2. Pay: Training pay starts at $12.00 per hour. Once training is completed, pay rate will increase to $16.60 per hour. 3. Hours: 3 days 12 hour shifts, equaling 36 hours per week. The facility runs production on holidays, weekends and overnights so we are looking for candidates who are able to work any and all shifts. 4.
