All you sheep personal trainers still affiliated with Fitness Australia - wake up! Firstly, there is no legal requirement for either a cert III or IV to work in any capacity in the fitness industry. Secondly, they are not at all interested in advancing the industry and have shown that over the last two decades through their constant interference and bungling that has only resulted in the further watering down of an already weak field. All they care about is lining their own pockets. The sooner everyone realises that and votes with their wallets by either affiliating through a different network, such as PAA or Fitnation, the better as theyll be out of business and the industry can start again. In the mean time, if youre actually good at your job head on over to the Functional Training and Rehab Group and ask to join. Along with being a good educational and network page the eventual goal is to take over the fitness industry with people who actually care whether its high quality or not, not bored office workers whove never set foot in a gym. Continuing to stay attached to FA is tantamount to saying you hope you get taxed more, because thats exactly what theyre going to do - charge you more yet offer less in return to you as a member.
