Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity…’ (Surah Al Baqarah 2:286) The Quran talks about various ways of coping with trials such as patience, faith, prayer and acceptance and one of the most profound and comforting is this Ayah. Regardless of how strong or weak our faith is, we still get tested, it’s part of our life and eventually we begin to accept it. As Muslims we must understand that what we are going through is something we can handle. Allah, The Greatest of All Planners has guaranteed that whatever trial comes our way is something we can handle. Subhanallah.
