Allah says in the Quran: Is the blind equal to the one who sees? - TopicsExpress

Allah says in the Quran: Is the blind equal to the one who sees? Or darkness equal to light? (Ar-Rad,Sura 13, Verse 16) Not equal are the blind and the seeing. Nor are the darknesses and the light. Nor are the shade and the heat. [Sura 35 Ayat 19-21] The likeness of the two parties is as the blind and the deaf and the seer and the hearer. Are they equal when compared? Will you not then take heed? (Hud, Sura 11, Verse 24) Is then he who is a believer like him who is a Fasiq (disbeliever and disobedient to Allah)? Not equal are they. (As-Sajda, Sura 32, Verse 18) Or do those who earn evil deeds think that We shall hold them equal with those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, in their present life and after their death? Worst is the judgement that they make. (Al-Jathiya, Sura 45, Verse 21) Not equal are those of the believers who sit (at home), except those who are disabled (by injury or are blind or lame), and those who strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives. Allah has preferred in grades those who strive hard and fight with their wealth and their lives above those who sit (at home). Unto each, Allah has promised good (Paradise), but Allah has preferred those who strive hard and fight, above those who sit (at home) by a huge reward. (An-Nisa,Sura 4, Verse 95) Say: Are those who know equal to those who know not? It is only men of understanding who will remember (i.e. get a lesson from Allahs Signs and Verses). (Az-Zumar, Sura 39, Verse 9) Not equal are Al-Khabith (all that is evil and bad as regards things, deeds, beliefs, persons and foods) and At-Taiyyib (all that is good as regards things, deeds, beliefs, persons, foods), even though the abundance of Al-Khabith may please you. So fear Allah , O men of understanding in order that you may be successful. ( Al-Maeda, Sura 5, Verse 100) The good deed and the evil deed cannot be equal. Repel (the evil) with one which is better (i.e. Allah orders the faithful believers to be patient at the time of anger, and to excuse those who treat them badly) (Fussilat, sura 41, Verse 34) Is he, then, to whom the evil of his deeds is made fair-seeming, so that he considers it as good (equal to one who is rightly guided)? Verily, Allah sends astray whom He wills, and guides whom He wills. (Fatir, Sura 35, Verse 8 ) Not equal are the dwellers of the Fire and the dwellers of the Paradise. It is the dwellers of Paradise that will be successful. (Al-Hashr, Sura 59, Verse 20) O Allah! Let not our hearts swerve [from the Truth] after Thou hast guided us; and bestow upon us Thy mercy, indeed Thou alone art the Bestower (Al Imran 3: 8 ) O Allah, please forgive us of our sins, guide us to the straight path, and allow us to lower our heart (and our gaze) in modesty. O Allah, please save us from the punishment of the grave and the Hell-Fire. Ameen.
