Allah taala says And remind, for verily, the reminding profits the believers (Adh-Dhariyat 55) this message is just to remind us of those thing we know about Laylat ul-Qadr..then the continues of Latlat ul-Qadr.. The various reports indicate that laylat ul-Qadr definitely falls on the last ten nights of Ramadan and ibn Umars report that Rasulullah (saw) said” seek it on the last ten nights, if one of you is weak let him not miss (at least) the seven nights(Al-Bukhari)The knowledge of the exact night on which it falls is hidden from the muslims,Ubadah ibn as-samit (ra) reported that Rasulullah (saw) walked into the masjid (Prophets mosque) and found two men arguing. He said i was coming to tell you about (the time of)laylat ul-Qadr,when such and such men disputed, the knowledge of this was raised (taken) and this may be better for you, so seek it on the ninth, seventh and fifth night(after twenty)(Al-Bukhari) Therefore ,laylat ul-Qadr falls on in odd nights of the last ten nights of Ramadan it is more likely to be on the last seven and most likely on the middle one of those, which is the night of the twenty seventh, the scholars differ as to whether it always comes on a fixed night, namely the twenty-seventh, as in Zirrs hadith or moves from year to year between those night, the safest approach is to follow the hadiths instructing one to seek it at least on the odd nights of the last ten. At the same time, special care should be given to the night of the twenty-seventh, because it is the night on which Rasulullah (saw) gathered all of his family and passed it in prayer and worship. Laylat ul-Qadr is the most blessed night. A person who misses it has indeed misses great amount of good, if a believing person is zealous to obey his Lord and increase the good deeds in his record, he should strive to encounter this night and to pass it in worship and obedience to Allah, for Abu Hurayrah (ra) narrated that Rasulullah (saw) said” Whoever stands (in qiyam) in Lylat ul-Qadr(and it is facilitated for him) out of faith and expectation (of Allahs reward) will have all of his previous sin forgiven (Al-Bukhari) this hadeeth is evidence for the virtue of the night of Al-Qadr as well as performing qiyaam (Tarawih ) during it. And it indicates that it is a grand night, which Allaah has honored and made better than a thousand months in regards to its blessing and the blessings found in the righteous deeds that are performed in it. Thus it is better than the worship of a thousand months and that is equivalent to eighty-three years and four months. Due to this, whoever performs qiyaam (Tarawih) with true faith and while seeking reward in it will be forgiven his past sins Then as Muslim we should supplicate much on the nights in which the night of Al-Qadr is sought. And he should supplicate with that which Rasulullah (saw) instructed ‘Aa’ishah (raa) with,as Aishah (raa) reported that she asked Rasulullah (saw) O Rasulullah (saw) if i knew which night is laylat ul-Qadr what should i say during it?and he instructed her to say Allaahumma Innaka Afuwwun Tuhibbul-Afwa Fa’affoo ‘annee (Ahmad) Ibn Katheer (ra) said: “It is recommended to supplicate a lot at all times and (to supplicate) more than that during the month of Ramadan, its last ten days and its odd days. And it is highly recommended to increase ones invoking with this supplication: ‘Allaahumma Innaka Afuwwun Tuhibbul-Afwa Fa’affoo ‘annee. May Allah taala counts us among those that will witness this year laylat ul-Qadr (Amen)
