Allah tells us to go back to history and look at it to see how things went and learn the laws. One of the things I found interesting is the story of prophet Isa(Jesus) - peace be upon him-. One of his main enemies were some religious leaders!!! Those who are supposed to be the ones who protect him were the ones who fought against him. They are people who teach people what God wants but themselves failed miserably to accomplish. What does this teach ? learning is not the same as implementing. Someone being a scholar of religion does not mean someone is a good person. The end of some scholars might be disbelief. May Allah protects us.
