Allahabads Giant step to traffic rules compliance...... A very pleasant surprise awaited today for me when I arrived from Delhi.... Traffic lights were working and Police and administration enforcing compliance. KUDOS to the police and administration for this, we should appreciate the good steps taken by them (they bear our criticism when things go wrong)..... I remember in the junior school I was taught about the traffic rules -red orange and green light, zebra crossing, etc. We asked our teacher to practically show us where it happens, and you must have guessed it -she couldnt. But today we can proudly say that we have started to follow rules, let this be not dependent upon the presence of a traffic cop, it should happen suo moto from our own selves. A big step towards a better, educated , civil and civic society. Cheers.
