Allahumma Salle Alaa Muhammad. After Salat ul Jummah for the past 2 weeks we have been reciting Durood (Salawat) asking Allah to send peace and blessing upon Rasulullah ﷺ. I briefly went over why I wanted everyone to recite it last week and lets keep it in mind. Let us also remember that when we send Durood/Salawat, an angel conveys our Salaam to Muhammad ﷺ. Muhammad ﷺ then makes dua for us, his ummah. When was his dua denied? We are doing this for the sake of Allah and for the love of His Rasool ﷺ so lets kick it up a notch. Instead of 3 times lets do it 5 times next week. May Allah grant us His closeness, and the love of Nabi ﷺ to be put in our hearts. Ameen.
