Alleged lynching of Governor Oshiomole: The attention of Edo PDP has been drawn to a spurious allegation been peddled by Adams Oshiomholes led APC govt, to the effect that the Governor was almost been lynched by persons believed to be PDP supporters at the Benin Airport while awaiting the Presidents arrival for the foundation laying ceremony of Edo-Avura IPP gas project. Edo PDP strongly dissociates its members from this wicked allegation, as our members are law abiding citizens who would always follow the rule of Law even in the face of intolerable provocation and despicable actions of the APC govt and members. Edo PDP wishes to remind the general public that it is still awaiting the necessary legal action that will be taken to bring all the murderous attackers of Hon. Rasaq Momoh at the legislative quarters to Justice. We believe that the premeditated ungodly attack by APC thugs led by Hon. Philip Shaibu was unwarranted, uncivilised and intolerant. Their action is condemnable and we insist that these characters are brought to justice. Any attempt to sweep this pertinent issue using these diversionary accusation will be fruitless as Edo people are patiently waiting.
