Allen update, august 13: sorry for not updating yesterday! It was a whirlwind of activity, but we have Allen settled in comfortably at HOME! The dogs werent sure how they felt about it, initially. But they are done snubbing him and holding a grudge for him having stayed away for so long, and are now talking to him every time he moves! He enjoyed sleeping in his own bed last night, and the freedom of being able to see me when he wakes up & not having to wait for me to show up! I love having him next to me, also!!! Ive missed that so much! We had our first visit from home health care, and my first tutorial on administering his once a day antibiotic via PICC line. Piece of cake! Only three weeks of that. Scheduled 2 follow up appt.s for next week. Did the grocery shopping for the week at our new Walmart here in Choctaw, yesterday. Glad for the convenience of proximity! I feel like we will slip right into our new normal just fine! Life is GOOD! Oh! And I feel I should share that my superhuman husband is only on Tylenol for pain meds...and has been for a couple of days now! He is one tough dude! I couldnt be prouder!!!
