Allie Fread Bernier: There is a really great story behind that photo! This couple is in France, and made a huge difference in their community. They planted this beautiful garden in their front yard, and community planners eventually told them that they needed to put a lawn back in. They got in touch with an international gardeners association (cant remember which one), requested help, and in one month the gardening groups members called or emailed the city planners more than 10 000 times. The couple was eventually called in to help re-write the legislation, allowing front-yard vegetable gardens in their neighborhood. VERY cool story.
