Allison has a great question: My daughter recently successfully completed the 3 stages of rib graft Microtia Reconstruction with Dr.Bonilla in San Antonio. While we couldnt be happier with the results of those surgeries, we are unsure about which option to choose to address my daughters hearing loss. While the doctors gave her a 8/10 score for canalplasty, we are not eager to undergo more serious surgeries anytime soon and are instead researching BAHA implants, either the Oticon Ponto via traditional abutment or the Cochlear America BAHA Attract.
