Allow me to introduce my family: Me: 30-something year old mama. Full-time kid wrangler. Part-time writer & blogger. Sometimes baker. Occasional runner. Sanity is questionable for having 3 kids in under 3 years! I manage multiple roles including scheduler, logistics coordinator, conflict negotiator and family nag. Hubby: 40-something year old dada. Full-time engineer. Part-time wife appeaser. Sometimes joker (if said wife is in a mood for humour). Occasional bike rider. Has virtually no power in the house. Retreats to shed when the oestrogen level is too intense. Seriously dreading the teenage years when the girls discover boys. May buy shotgun. Miss A: 5. Typical first-born child. Responsible. Compliant. Easy-going. Visionary. Seriously creative. Heading off to school next year. Has thrown only one tantrum in her entire life (I know, but stay with me, the others make up for it!!) Miss J: 4. Dare I say typical middle child??? Her wild, curly locks match her personality. Fun, vibrant, animated and full of spirit. Troublesome in the early years. Thankfully had transformation when she hit 3 and life has been a heap more harmonious since :-) Miss H: Defies categorisation. The following adjectives apply: Funny. Wilful. Stubborn. Cheeky. Narcissistic. Explosive. Choc-full of character. Backstage is not for her. She took the express train out of my uterus and by-passed infancy and straight into toddlerhood.
