Allow this to inspire you today. We are called to be the kingdom, here and now. Liberation is salvation from the suffering of flesh. Salvation is liberation from the suffering of flesh. An affection for and love of blackness, that which is rejected, cast aside, thrown down, left to die, is an act of Godly politics, a radical theology, an elevation from the places of blindness (blinding lightness) to a perch upon understanding from which courageous hearts and fearless minds can see anew. See then, light is born of darkness. It is from Darkness that the words were spoken let there be light. Light is nothing great; it is merely an aid for mortal eyes to see the immortal and the infinite, the total. When we are overwhelmed by the finite assistance that light is, we become blind, cast back into the infinity that blackness, a total darkness, is. However, it is in being transfigured into newly seeing and knowing beings that we come to understand blackness and darkness to be the inclusion of and the source of everything, that we see like our Creator, as that which was in darkness and all alone, whole. It is in being given the vision of the Creator and the perspective of Creator that we know to see blackness, to see through darkness, to see in darkness is to see everything at once that light helped us to see in our imperfection. It is to be transfigured that we can see without the assistance of light, using light then only to assist those who have yet to be transfigured, until this assistance blinds them and they have left only to be renewed as you have been renewed. Giving divine vision to those who are the vision of the divine: this is our livelihood, this is our priesthood, we offer light up as a sacrifice until sacrifice is no longer needed. Lifting up what man has cast down, feeding what man has starved, restoring what man has violated, empowering what man has dominated, freeing what man has chained -- this is the call and commission of you, for whom the Kindgom was built up, and through whom, among whom, in whom the kingdom, injured and maligned by systems of self interest and hate, will be again raised up for all time, in which all of those answering this call will be healed and made whole. See now, the kingdom, the beauty of the blackness in you, and be healed.
