Alma and I spent yesterday working at the polls. Matt. 12;31-37; Mark 3:28-30 What is the unpardonable sin? It involves attributing the works of God in Christ to the devil, as these lost religious leaders did, and denying the power of the Holy Spirit while emphasizing our own self-righteousness and supposed self-sufficiency. It cannot be forgiven here because when the Spirit no longer convicts (having been formally rejected), the person assumes he ahs no sin and need not ask forgiveness. If you think you have committed this sin, you have not; those who have are convinced that they do not sin (have achieved perfection here!)
