Almighty God, faithful and true throughout the ages; Lord You are worthy to receive glory and honor and praise. So do we praise You this morning for Your lovingkindness and for Your faithfulness towards us; and we thank You, O God, for being the Lord of our lives. Today we set our hearts and minds on You, assured that You will direct our paths, and by Your spirit and by Your Amazing Grace, will meet our most pressing needs. How grateful are we for all of Your works; for Your redemptive love that saves us from our sins and prepares our hearts for eternity. Lord our lives here are but a vapor, but everlasting in the life to come, so keep us mindful of eternity in the midst of our temporal existence. Grant us Lord, that our attitudes and choices in this life would be reflective of Your divine influence, and not those of this fleeting world that is vanishing day by day. Lord strengthen us to rise above the struggles of this world and most especially as we focus on the perfect, everlasting life to come. In the matchless name of Jesus the Christ, we do pray and declare it all. Amen.
