Almighty God, our help, who is just and merciful, and who hears the prayers of your people; look down upon us, this day. Have mercy upon us, and deliver us from the troubles that torment us. Grant us, O God, your divine helping grace; endow us with patience and strength to endure our tribulations with complete submission to your will. You know our afflictions and to you, our only hope and refuge, we flee for relief and comfort; trusting your infinite love and compassion, that in due season, you will deliver us from them all, and turn our distress into comfort, and we will rejoice in your mercy, and exalt and praise your Holy Name. In the matchless name of Jesus the Christ, we do pray and declare it all. Amen.
