Almighty God, we pray Your peace today, not man’s peace, but the peace that surpasses all understanding. Lord help us to understand that peace does not come in rebellion or grieving, but is obtained through the calming of the soul. Therefore, grant us, O Lord, that if we may be perplexed or worried today, we may have the power to control ourselves and wait in Your strength. See us through our hard times, O God; and when we are overcome with fear, we will reach out our hands to You. We can not carry all of our burdens, but we know You can, and we are confident that You will. Walk with us, O God. Lead us and guide us through the trials and the storms; even in our darkest hour, stay with us O GOD, and show us Your way. Lord hold our hands in our weakness and teach our hearts to trust You even the more; draw us near and hold us tight in Your embrace so that we may hear that small, still voice declare PEACE and know with surety that no weapon formed against us shall be able to prosper! In the matchless name of Jesus the Christ, we do pray and declare it all. Amen.
