Almighty God, we rejoice this day that You know the depths of our souls, and that we may call upon You to supply its needs. Lord our prayer this day is for Your strength in our pursuit of righteousness. Endow us, O God, with the strength needed to break away from habits that mar our character, strengthen us that we should not lose courage and fall back into our old thoughts and our old deeds, but by faith be led in the way that we should go. Make us worthy, dear God, that we may not be kept from the Joy of You, where our souls may be refreshed; where we may gather hope and encouragement for the greater loves of life. Search us, O God, and know our hearts: try us, and know our thoughts: see if there be any offensive way in us, and lead us in the way everlasting. Lord we desire to know You and to please You, and to experience all that is Your great love for us! O Lord, so determined are we in this pursuit of You, that we have resolved to let nothing stand in our way, even we ourselves! In the matchless name of Jesus the Christ, we do pray and declare it all. Amen.
