Almighty God, who pours out the spirit of grace and of supplication to all who ask for it; deliver us, when we draw near to You, from coldness of heart and wanderings of mind, so that with steadfast thoughts and kindled affections, we may worship You in spirit and in truth. O God, You have given us the breath of life, and You alone are able to keep our hearts filled with Your holy desires. We come this morning trusting in Your infinite compassion; and our prayer, O Lord, is that You would sanctify our thoughts and endeavors, that we may neither begin an action without a pure intention nor continue it without Your blessing. And grant us, O God, that having the eyes of understanding opened to behold things invisible and unseen, our hearts may be inspired by Your wisdom, to call those things which be not as though they were; and against hope, believe in hope to BE and DO all You have purposed and empowered us to. O Lord, by faith, we will not stagger at Your promises through unbelief; by faith, we will give You the Glory and exalt Your Holy name; for we are FULLY PERSUADED that, what You have promised, You are well able to perform it! In the matchless name of Jesus the Christ, we do pray and declare it all. Amen.
