Almighty and everlasting God, on this last day of the year, we turn our thoughts to that great and awesome day when Jesus will come again to gather His Elect from every time and Place.For the beleiver, it will be a time of joy, peace and fulfillment, but for those who do not beleive, it will be a time of terror and shame..Father , we dont know the day or the hour.Your word only says that the time is short.Give each of us a heart and the courage to speak the truth.Turn our heart to you , O Lord! because Jesus shed his blood for everyone.Give wisdom and patience and good humor to everybody--the wisdom of Solomon , the joy of the Holy Spirit and the Unconditional love of God, which always protect us from the Devil.Forgive and renew us father, we are yours, hear and answer our prayers as we know that your will is always best and we know that you love us more than life itself for sake of Jesus christ.
