Almost 2 years ago I sold my beloved horse, Cici to start Hooves For Heroes Inc.. we didnt have the money to start it but knowing a program like HFH was need so bad for our Military community I sacraficed something I loved so dearly in hopes to changes lives. The Lord blessed her with a wonderful family to love and adore her more than word could say. I cried the day she left and every night since but knew she was in safe hands. She came up for sale again and I was offered her back but sadly all our extra money went into Hooves For Heroes and extra monthly bills. So I had to pass but was promised she would be sold to a very loving home. She was sold to another loving family who were Military as well. Though she was literally right up the road this whole time I couldnt go see her because it would just make my heart ache more. July 5th of this year was the first time i seen her at the local Baker show. As I met her new owner for the first time I wrapped my arms around Cicis neck and just cried. I made sure to stay around as much as possible to see her and her owner show and to say goodbye once again. After that day an old wound that was barely healed was tore open again. She came up for sale again and her price was way out of our price range but Jess was bound and determined to get my girl back. He scrapped up any savings we had and got her back for me. My grandmother always said if you do good for others it will come round back to you ten fold. Today I know she was looking down smiling saying I told ya darlin. I know she had a hand in this where ever she is. Bella is super excited to see her friend back but isnt convinced shes ours yet lol shes afraid she has to go back home. I told her that were her home forever till the day she goes to the clouds. I have to say that my husband truly understood the paint I had selling her and seeing her and I had cant not thank him enough bringing her home and I cant thank Shannan or Kim enough for loving her for me till she was mine again. ♡♡♡♡ Even Firefly remembered her!!!
