Almost 2 years ago when I left Ohio I had neighbors coming by to say goodbye and give me hugs and telling me they were so glad I had lived there and been a good neighbor and that they would all miss me. I had a great bunch of neighbors. Even the young man who bought my place came by and helped load things on the truck and gave me a hug and said if I ever came back I was welcome to use a bedroom if I needed a place to sleep while I was there. He said he wished he had met me sooner because he liked talking to me and he thought I was wise and we could have gone to dinner and had good conversation. He was a sweetheart. Now I am having people make trips up here on the mountain to say goodbye. It warms my heart but chokes me up a bit. Im kinda emotional about stuff like that. And especially so after my son in Ohio called last night and fears hell never see me again. Now, THAT hurts my heart. :( And when I get all that attention it really surprises me. I pretty much keep to myself and try not to bother others, but if they need me Im there.
