Almost 40 years ago, I received my undergraduate degree in political science and except for the first four years when I taught high school social studies in North Plainfield, NJ and over the last couple of years, I havent made much use of that sheepskin. Thats about to change. Today, after watching more of the lies, obfuscation and stonewalling by the Obama Administration, I outlined the basics of a book, to be called Under False Pretenses, the 2012 Re-election of President Barack Obama. I am going to do my best, as a historian and a researcher, to come up with a cohesive history of the events of 9/11/2102 and the subsequent coverup by the White House, the State Department and the intelligence community. The beauty of undertaking such a project now, in 2014 rather than in 1976 -- which seems a lifetime ago -- is that so much is available on the Internet, especially that the statements of so many of the participants, especially President Obama, Secretary of State Clinton and UN Ambassador Susan Rice have been archived on YouTube. Its now obvious that the political narrative and the running out of the clock, led to the re-election of President Obama in November 2012. I believe that the most pivotal point in the campaign was the second debate where CNN moderator Candy Crowley injected herself into the debate, unfairly deflecting Romneys attack on Obama and his version of the post Benghazi timeline, particularly on his post 9/11 Rose Garden terrorism speech. I use the term that Romney was Crowley-ized by her intervention which was immediately walked back by Crowley immediately after the debate. My goal in this project? To complete this book in a years time and if Hillary Clintons candidacy has not already been derailed, to do my best to see that it is. I simply cant believe that a majority of Americans believe that she is even remotely qualified to lead this country as POTUS.
