Almost 5 years, after 48 years, no patches, gum, support, none of that, stubbed a fag out one saturday morning and said thats it, i,m stopping smoking. Not a terrible experience like people expect to go through, no real suffering, its easier than people think. After a few weeks you realize you have been going through life on about 65% of how you should really feel. The long faces, irritable people in shops, tiredness, and so much more, you can bet theyre mostly smokers, smoking causes stress, it doesnt ease it. when people get edgy in waiting rooms, its cos they want a fag! Too no longer be a slave of nicotene is a brilliant feeling, you feel like a different person. I,ve written all this, hopeing itl help those who want to quit. Sitting outside on a summers evening, with a cup of tea and no desire whatsoever to smoke, in fact fags would ruin that moment.
