Almost 8 years ago, I reached a point in my life where I felt incredibly lost and in despair. After months of crying out and asking the Lord to show me where I was, He said I was stuck in a place called Hope Deferred. (Proverbs 13:12) A few weeks later, on a ministry trip in Iowa, He led me to a book called Hope Resurrected: Tell Your Heart to Beat Again! by Dutch Sheets. I opened the pages, began reading, and as His Spirit moved, just absolutely wept. The book described exactly where I had been...and also where God wanted to take me! At the end of the first chapter, I read a statement that stated: Congratulations! You are pregnant with hope! The Lord did a work in me that day to begin taking me from Hope Deferred to Hope Resurrected -- a journey I am still on today! Hope was conceived in my heart, and also in my body!! I was to find out the next morning that I was LITERALLY pregnant with our 2nd daughter, Moriyah Taliyah Hanna, whose name means, God has seen me and teaches me the HOPE OF HEAVEN through His grace! Five years later, I came across the song Tell Your Heart to Beat Again by Philips, Craig, and Dean (2012), which has been so dear to my heart these last 2 years! Just this morning, as the Lord reminded me of this song, I discovered from my friend, Jubilee Yocum that it has just been remade. Love, love, love this latest version and HAD to share!
