Almost 9yrs ago I was presented with every chefs dream - to own my own restaurant - to do it my way- to bring to Collie a restaurant with food, design and service that was on par with Perth or Bunbury. So together with - 3 of the worlds most patient, understanding and all round awesome children. 1 very, very supportive & encouraging husband & extended family. Some of the most Loyal, encouraging and far too patient friends any girl could ask for. 100s of staff members, who more often than not were happy to go along with my crazy ideas. The community of Collie, who have embraced & supported us 1000s & 1000s of guests Lots of blood, sweat, tears, late nights & a level of exhaustion only a chef can know I have been fortunate enough to see my dream come true. NOW THE TIME HAS COME FOR A CHANGE. On December 19th 2014, I will be cooking my last meals at The Ridge Restaurant. When the restaurant opens in the new year, it will do so with new owners & managers. I wish them all the best and hope they love it as much as I have.
