Almost Home No-Kill shelter has opened its doors and arms to many - TopicsExpress

Almost Home No-Kill shelter has opened its doors and arms to many cats and dogs over the years. When an animal needs medical care, we provide it. If an animal needs training, we provide it. If an animal is frightened at the shelter, we comfort it. And when an animal is considered too old to adopt, we embrace it. Day 4 of Almost Homes 10 days of Thanksgiving brings us the story of Triton. Triton was a sweet 12 year old cat who had been surrendered as his family just didnt have time for him. Triton would gave been put down at most shelters as he is considered a senior cat who doesnt have much to offer. Almost Home welcomed him and calmed his fears. This would not have been possible without you, our supporters. Please help us reach our goal of raising $100 a day so all of our animals can have their happily ever after. To make your tax deductible donation, please go to: almosthomeanimals.org/help-us/donate/ A mother and her 4 year old daughter came to an adoption event just to visit a friend who was helping out at the event. Suddenly, a sweet black cat came up and begged her daughter to pet him. Within minutes both mom and daughter were cuddling him as if he had been their pet forever. It didnt take long for them to realize they have found a new member of their family. We caught up with this happy family to hear how they were doing. We are thankful for him warming our hearts and our home. We couldnt ask for a better pet! He is so loving, if hes not waiting for us at the back door he comes into the room seconds later to greet us when we get home. We didnt find Triton, he found us.
