Almost done with this piece of firewood....yes I said fire wood. I found this last Memorial day (at barview jetty on the Oregon coast)at a neighboring campsite. The campers left a few chunks of wood behind and when I saw the spalting on this one I new someday I would do something with it. This was my first try at the lathe and I loved it. I will post the final pics after I stain it. Early Christmas present for Michelle Wardell.
